prirent l\u2019initiative de cr\u00e9er le Museo Onsernonese. Son objectif \u00e9tait et est encore la sauvegarde et la valorisation du patrimoine historique, ethnographique et culturel de cette r\u00e9gion. Le si\u00e8ge du mus\u00e9e se trouve dans le village de Loco au bord de la route cantonale. Les principaux th\u00e8mes des collections du mus\u00e9e vont de l\u2019industrie de la paille aux costumes traditionnels des femmes, des cas de l\u2019\u00e9migration au travail paysan et \u00e0 la vie quotidienne, des ex\u00adpressions artistiques \u2013 signalons tout particuli\u00e8rement la collection des \u0153uvres du peintre par excellence du Val Onsernone Carlo Agostino Meletta (1800\u20131875), ainsi que celle du sculpteur Ermenegildo Degiorgi Peverada (1866\u20131900) et d\u2019autres encore \u2013 \u00e0 l\u2019art sacr\u00e9. On y met aussi en \u00e9vidence la pr\u00e9sence pendant toute la premi\u00e8re moiti\u00e9 du XXe s. d\u2019importantes personnalit\u00e9s du monde culturel europ\u00e9en dans le Val Onsernone. Ce dernier aspect a donn\u00e9 lieu \u00e0 une recherche approfondie sur le th\u00e8me \u201cL\u2019Arca d\u2019Onsernone. Terra di rifugio e di ispirazione\u201c. En outre, le Mus\u00e9e Onsernonese a r\u00e9introduit et revaloris\u00e9 la production de la farina b\u00f3na, une sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9 locale, obtenue d\u2019une fine mouture\u00a0 du mais l\u00e9g\u00e8rement grill\u00e9. Situ\u00e9 \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de la route principale, sur un escarpement qui domine la magnifique cascade de la rivi\u00e8re Bordione, le moulin de Loco \u2013 ainsi que celui de Vergeletto \u2013 est le t\u00e9moin vivant de l\u2019importante activit\u00e9 des moulins pour tout le Val Onsernone. On en d\u00e9nombrait quelques 27 en fonction \u00e0 la fin du XIXe s. presque tous disparus ou hors usage aujourd\u2019hui. A l\u2019\u00e9tage sup\u00e9rieur, l\u2019exposition didactique illustre l\u2019histoire et les techniques de moutures des c\u00e9r\u00e9ales, tandis qu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tage inf\u00e9rieur se trouve le local avec les meules de pierre, actionn\u00e9es par la roue \u00e0 eau externe. Il est possible d\u2019acheter la farine pour la polenta et la farina b\u00f3na directement au moulin et au mus\u00e9e durant les heures
