title_font_options=“font_style_bold:1″ undefined=““][vc_column_text]Das Museum begann 1966 auf Initiative einiger kulturell besonders interessierter und engagierter Onsernonesi mit seinen Aktivit\u00e4ten. Es drohten die letzten Zeugnisse der Geschichte des Tales zu verschwinden. Ziel des Museums ist es, das kultur- und volksgeschichtliche Erbe der Region zu bewahren, zu erschliessen und zu vermitteln.
\nDas Museum befindet sich anfangs Loco in einem alten Onsernoneser Haus, direkt an der Talstrasse. Das thematische Spektrum der Ausstellung und der Sammlung ist breit: vom b\u00e4uerlichen Lebens- und Arbeits\u00adalltag \u00fcber die Strohindustrie bis zur Emigration, von der profanen und sakralen Kunst bis zu den Zeugnissen der Pr\u00e4senz von namhaften Pers\u00f6nlichkeiten des europ\u00e4ischen Kulturschaf\u00adfens. Bedeutungsvoll sind so\u00adwohl das Werk des Malers Carlo Agostino Meletta (1800\u20131875) wie auch des Bildhauers Ermenegildo Degiorgi Peverada (1866\u20131900), beide aus Loco. Die Bedeutung der Pr\u00e4senz und des Wirkens von namhaften K\u00fcnstlern und Kulturschaffenden im Tal, besonders in der ersten H\u00e4lfte des 20. Jahrhunderts, wurde und wird durch einzelne Studien (z.B. \u201cL\u2019Arca d\u2019Onser\u00adnone. Jahrhundert. Sie wurde sorgf\u00e4ltig restauriert und wieder in Betrieb genommen. Seit 1991 wird mit den alten M\u00fchlsteinen Mais zu Polenta\u00admehl vermahlen. Das \u201cMuseo Onsernonese\u201c schafft zudem die Voraussetzungen zur Wieder\u00adbelebung einer traditionellen Onsernoneser Speziali\u00adt\u00e4t, der farina b\u00f3na. Farina b\u00f3na ist ein aromatisches Mehl, das aus der feinen Vermahlung von ger\u00f6steten Maisk\u00f6rnern ge-wonnen wird. Polentamehl und farina b\u00f3na werden in der M\u00fchle und im Museum verkauft.
\nDie M\u00fchle liegt unmittelbar neben der Talstrasse am Bergbach Bordione oberhalb eines spektakul\u00e4ren Wasserfalls. Sie bildet zusammen mit der M\u00fchle von Vergeletto ein lebendiges Zeugnis der M\u00fcllerei\u00adtradition des Onsernone: Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts waren im Onsernonetal gut 27 M\u00fchlen in Betrieb, heute sind die meisten verschwunden oder nicht mehr funktionsf\u00e4hig. Im oberen Stockwerk der M\u00fchle wurde eine Ausstellung eingerichtet, die \u00fcber Geschichte und Technik der Kornm\u00fchlen des Onsernone informiert, im unteren Stock befinden sich die
